Entry-Level Mason


We are in need of an Entry-Level Mason to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other similar materials. You will also be required to work with various tools and equipment such as trowels, levels, and mixers.

Responsibilities:
- Lay out building foundations and walls according to blueprints
- Mix mortar or grout using specified proportions
- Spread mortar or grout onto surfaces using a trowel
- Align structures by using levels and plumb lines
- Cut or trim bricks or concrete blocks to required size using power saws or hand tools
- Fill gaps between bricks or blocks with grout or other similar substances
- Repair cracks or damages in existing structures
- Clean and polish finished surfaces using trowels or other tools

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in masonry preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials regularly
- Knowledgeable in operating various masonry tools and equipment
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Salary: 1800$ per month

This is an excellent opportunity for an Indian national who is seeking an entry-level job as a Mason. Fluency in English is not required for this position.
