Livestock Specialist


As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the care and well-being of animals in Abu-Dhabi. You will work closely with local farmers and ranchers to provide guidance and support in all aspects of livestock management. Your primary duties will include overseeing feed and nutrition, monitoring animal health, implementing breeding programs, and ensuring compliance with animal welfare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with local farmers and ranchers to provide expert guidance on all aspects of livestock management.
- Monitor animal health and implement appropriate treatment plans as needed.
- Oversee feed and nutrition programs to ensure optimal health and productivity of livestock.
- Develop breeding programs to improve the quality of livestock breeds.
- Ensure compliance with animal welfare regulations and maintain accurate records.
- Provide training and support to farmers on best practices for livestock care.
- Collaborate with veterinary professionals to address any health issues or concerns.
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in livestock management techniques.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with livestock, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Knowledge of animal welfare regulations and best practices for livestock care.
- Experience developing breeding programs is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with local farmers, ranchers, and other professionals.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be willing to live on-site at the farm/ranch where the job is located.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1500 per month.
