Waiter/Waitress in Washington D.C., USA

We are a busy restaurant located in the heart of Washington D.C. and we are seeking a skilled Waiter/Waitress to join our team. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely manner
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Serve food and beverages to guests according to established standards
- Anticipate guests' needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism
- Ensure proper set-up and clean-up of tables and dining area
- Process payments using POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English required, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
