DevOps Developer
Location: Karachi, Pakistan


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Developer to join our dynamic team in Karachi. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our company's DevOps processes and tools. You will work closely with the development team to ensure efficient and seamless delivery of software products. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in software development, as well as experience with automation tools and cloud platforms. This is a contract position and candidates must have their own visa to work in Pakistan. Urgent applications are encouraged from qualified professionals with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Salary is $1400 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain our company's DevOps processes and tools
- Work closely with the development team to ensure efficient delivery of software products
- Develop automation scripts for testing, deployment, monitoring and scaling
- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Manage cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS or Azure
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall product quality

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong background in software development with proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Bash
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
