Nepali Chef


A reputable Nepali restaurant in Washington is seeking an experienced and skilled Nepali Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a passion for creating traditional Nepali dishes and be able to bring innovative ideas to our menu. The candidate must also have experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and be able to lead a team of kitchen staff. The salary for this position is $900 per week.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare authentic Nepali dishes according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant
- Develop new menu items that showcase the unique flavors of Nepal
- Manage inventory and ensure all necessary ingredients are stocked
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and menu development

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef specializing in Nepali cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional Nepali ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and manage kitchen staff effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
