Network and Systems Administrator


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Faro. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security of all systems and data.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement security measures to protect the company's data and systems
- Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans
- Manage user accounts and permissions on various systems
- Perform regular system updates and upgrades to ensure optimal performance
- Provide technical support to employees with hardware or software issues
- Collaborate with other IT team members on projects or initiatives

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with network security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), etc.
- Familiarity with server operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this position.
