Carpenter - Residential Construction



Carpenters are skilled craftsmen responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, such as building frameworks, partitions, cabinets, and furniture. As a carpenter in our residential construction team in Vianden, you will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks on different job sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the materials required for a project
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut, shape, and smooth materials using hand tools and power equipment
- Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings etc.
- Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to complete projects within specified timeframes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter in residential construction
- Excellent knowledge of woodworking techniques and methods including framing, finishing etc.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail with the ability to work independently or in teams
- Good communication skills
Salary: 1700$

Location: Vianden

Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Contract Type: Contract (with possibility of extension)
