We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kaunas. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, build and train models, and deploy solutions in production environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and programming languages such as Python or R. Experience with data visualization tools and cloud computing is also preferred. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of 1400$ per month with accommodation provided.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with data scientists and software engineers to identify business needs and design solutions using machine learning techniques
- Gathering and preprocessing large datasets from various sources
- Building, training, and deploying machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Conducting experiments to optimize model performance and scalability
- Monitoring model performance in production environments and making necessary adjustments
- Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and incorporating them into existing projects

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist
- Strong programming skills in Python or R for data manipulation, modeling, and visualization
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark or Kafka is preferred
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex projects
