Job Title: Database Administrator


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Faro. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, performance, and availability.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain database systems according to company requirements
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate backup and recovery strategies
- Create and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate databases with other systems or applications
- Plan and execute database upgrades or migrations as necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Proficient in SQL and knowledge of database management tools
- Strong understanding of database architecture, indexing strategies, and query optimization
- Experience working with large-scale databases
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary: 1400$ per month

Location: Faro

This is a full-time position. Candidates must have their own visa for working in Faro.
