Junior Surveyor

As a Junior Surveyor, you will play a vital role in the construction and development industry. You will be responsible for conducting land surveys, analyzing data, and creating maps and reports for projects in the city of Manama. Your main goal will be to ensure accurate measurements and provide valuable information to support decision making. This entry-level position is suitable for men who are looking to kickstart their career in surveying. You do not need prior experience, but a strong understanding of math and an eye for detail is essential. As you will be working outdoors in various locations, you must have the physical ability to walk long distances and work in different weather conditions. The salary for this position is 1700$ per month, without accommodation provided. Applicants must have their own visa to work in Manama.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using specialized equipment such as GPS devices and total stations
- Analyze data collected during surveys and create accurate maps and reports
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure survey results align with project plans
- Keep detailed records of survey data, including measurements and locations
- Use computer software to process survey data and create digital maps
- Ensure that all work is performed according to safety regulations and project specifications
- Communicate any discrepancies or concerns with team members or supervisors

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in surveying or a related field (preferred)
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS devices, and laser levels
- Knowledge of computer software used for processing survey data (e.g., AutoCAD)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physical fitness to carry out tasks on site which may involve walking long distances or climbing hills/structures
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have own visa to work in Manama
