Sales Representative

A dynamic and driven individual is needed to fill the role of Sales Representative for our company in Eldoret, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a proven track record in sales. They will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to potential clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and identifying new business opportunities. This position requires a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and self-motivation to meet sales targets. Previous experience in sales is preferred but not required. This is a full-time job with a salary of $1700 per month, plus commission on sales. Accommodation can be provided if needed.

As a Sales Representative, you will be expected to:

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and their needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Present products to potential customers through face-to-face meetings, phone calls or emails
- Negotiate contracts with clients and close deals
- Meet or exceed sales targets set by the company
- Provide excellent customer service before and after sales
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' activities
- Travel within the city of Eldoret as well as to other locations within Kenya if required

Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Previous experience in sales is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- Must have own visa or valid work permit for Kenya (if non-Kenyan)
- Available to work full-time, including some weekends if needed
