We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our company's information technology systems. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures
- Manage and monitor all IT operations, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems
- Ensure data security and backup protocols are in place
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise
- Plan and oversee technology upgrades and implementations
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology to ensure our systems remain current and efficient
- Mentor and train team members on new technologies and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an IT management role
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networks, and security systems
- Experience with data security protocols and disaster recovery planning
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels
- Ability to work independently as well as lead a team
- Fluency in English (Portuguese is a plus)
