Heavy Equipment Operator


As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery, such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the equipment while adhering to all safety regulations. This position requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment before use
- Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Monitor and adjust machine settings for optimum performance
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Keep accurate records of daily activities and job progress

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and blueprints
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Physical ability to work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Location:
This position is located in Porto, Portugal.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Accommodation:
This position does not include accommodation. Candidates must arrange their own housing.
