A solar installer is responsible for installing and maintaining solar panels on residential or commercial properties. Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels according to safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications
- Ensure proper wiring and grounding of panels
- Connect panels to inverters and electrical systems
- Conduct quality checks on installations to ensure they meet industry standards
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with existing solar systems
- Keep accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices for installation techniques

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in solar installation preferred
- Previous experience in construction, electrical work, or roofing is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Physically fit, comfortable working at heights, and able to lift heavy materials
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to solar installation
