Sous Chef
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Lahore. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality food production.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in creating menus and developing new dishes
- Train, supervise, and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Oversee food preparation and ensure quality and consistency
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service delivery
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a busy kitchen environment
- In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and plating presentations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- High level of creativity and attention to detail for menu development
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Certification in Food Safety or Sanitation is a plus
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
