Welder in Mombasa, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components to assemble structures and equipment according to blueprints and specifications. This is a full-time position suitable for men with experience in welding.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the sequence of operations
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal sheets using rulers, calipers, squares, or templates
- Cut and shape metal components using hand tools, machines, or torches
- Operate welding equipment to fuse metal parts together
- Inspect and test welded surfaces for defects
- Repair damaged metal parts by welding on new pieces
- Maintain equipment and work area clean and organized

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder in a similar position
- Proficient in reading blueprints and drawings
- Familiarity with welding safety standards and procedures
- Ability to operate various welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, arc welders
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks in various positions
- Attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.

This job is located in Mombasa, Kenya.

Preference:
This job is open to Indian nationals who are fluent in English.
