Seamstress - Indian Nationality (Mombasa)


We are currently seeking a skilled Seamstress of Indian nationality for a contract position in Mombasa. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience and work in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities:
- Use sewing machines and hand stitching techniques to create high-quality garments
- Read and interpret patterns and instructions to ensure accurate measurements and cuts
- Perform alterations and repairs on existing garments
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Collaborate with designers to bring their vision to life
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

Requirements:
- Indian nationality, preferably with experience in traditional Indian textile techniques
- Proficient in using sewing machines and hand stitching methods
- Able to read and interpret patterns and instructions accurately
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to measurements and cuts
- Basic understanding of garment construction
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
- Good time management skills
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, lift up to 25 pounds, etc.

Benefits:
This contract position offers a competitive salary of 1300$ per month. As this is an own visa job, the candidate must have their own valid visa for working in Mombasa. No English language skills are required for this role. Accommodation will not be provided. This position is suitable for men who are skilled in seamstress work.
