Office Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Manager to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office and ensuring smooth functioning of all administrative tasks. Your role will involve overseeing office procedures, managing budgets, coordinating meetings and events, and supervising administrative staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the office
- Develop and implement efficient office policies and procedures
- Manage office budget and expenses
- Coordinate meetings and events, including scheduling, setting up meeting rooms, and preparing necessary materials
- Supervise administrative staff, including assigning tasks and providing necessary training
- Handle incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate person or department
- Maintain accurate records of office inventory and supplies
- Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced when needed
- Assist with recruitment efforts by reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings
- Plan travel arrangements for employees as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

This position is based in Funchal, Portugal.
