Experienced Tiler in Faro, Portugal

We are currently seeking an experienced Tiler to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing tiles on various surfaces including floors, walls, and ceilings. You will also be responsible for measuring and cutting tiles to fit specific areas, as well as mixing and applying adhesives and grout.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Tiler
- Proficient in using tile cutting tools and other related equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Knowledge of different types of tiles, adhesives, and grout materials

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut tiles using tile cutting tools or saws according to desired measurements
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles or debris, cleaning, leveling, or filling cracks or holes
- Arrange tiles in the desired pattern while ensuring proper spacing and alignment
- Apply adhesives or mortar onto surfaces using trowels
- Set tiles into place on the adhesive/mortar bed
- Fill joints between tiles with grout and remove excess
- Install tile edge strips or other accessories such as trim pieces or thresholds
- Seal surfaces with sealant if necessary

Salary: The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
