Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Medina, specializing in Indian cuisine. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, creating and developing new menu items, and ensuring high quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new menu items for Indian cuisine, taking into account local and seasonal ingredients
- Train, mentor and lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth service and timely delivery of food orders
- Monitor food quality and presentation, maintaining high standards at all times
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute events or special menus

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel specializing in Indian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in menu development and costing is preferred
- Creative mindset with ability to innovate while staying true to traditional Indian flavors
