Software Tester


We are hiring a skilled Software Tester to join our growing team in Almada. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and bug reporting. You should have experience with various testing tools and methodologies, as well as a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Salary:
1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location:
Almada, Portugal (candidates with visa sponsorship preferred)

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of software products, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Identify and report bugs using established bug tracking systems
- Develop test plans and procedures based on project requirements
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve product quality
- Communicate effectively with project managers to provide timely updates on testing progress
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong understanding of different types of software testing methodologies
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or JMeter
- Knowledge of bug tracking systems like JIRA or Bugzilla
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications
