Pastry Chef for High-End Restaurant in Sofia
We are a highly reputable and upscale restaurant in Sofia, seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing delicious and visually appealing desserts, pastries, and baked goods for our discerning clientele. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about pastry and has a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Create unique and innovative dessert menus that cater to our high-end clientele
- Prepare and bake various types of desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods according to recipes
- Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, and fillings to ensure an attractive presentation
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies needed for pastry production
- Train and supervise junior pastry cooks in proper techniques and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the pastry kitchen area and equipment
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop seasonal menus that feature local ingredients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification in Pastry Arts preferred
- Strong knowledge of different pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, chocolate work, sugar work, etc.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with a creative flair for presentation
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent English communication skills
- Indian nationality preferred
Salary: $1400/month (negotiable based on experience)
