Preservation Architect - Ufa, Russia



As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city of Ufa, Russia. Your main duties will include conducting site surveys and evaluations to determine the condition of historical sites, developing preservation plans and proposals, overseeing restoration projects, and ensuring compliance with local preservation laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and evaluations to assess the condition of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and proposals for restoring or preserving historical sites
- Oversee restoration projects from initial planning stages to completion
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
- Research historical construction techniques and materials for accurate restoration work
- Monitor progress of ongoing projects and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with local preservation laws and regulations
- Maintain detailed records of all projects, including budgets, timelines, and materials used

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in historic preservation or architectural restoration
- Extensive knowledge of historical construction techniques and materials
- Familiarity with local preservation laws and regulations in Ufa is preferred but not required
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project records
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1300 per month
