Software Tester

We are hiring a skilled Software Tester to join our team in St. Petersburg. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. This is a contract position with a salary of $1800 per month, with the option for accommodation provided. We welcome applicants from Pakistan and other countries, as long as they have strong English proficiency and prior experience in software testing.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure all aspects of the software meet functional requirements
- Identify, report, and track software defects and bugs using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide suggestions for improvement
- Monitor testing progress and communicate any delays or issues to project managers
- Conduct regression testing to ensure previous defects have been resolved
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Prior experience as a Software Tester or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English

Preferred:
- ISTQB certification or equivalent
- Experience working on Agile projects
- Familiarity with SQL databases
