Architectural Technologist


An architectural technologist is responsible for creating and managing technical drawings and plans for construction projects. They work closely with architects and engineers to ensure that designs are functional, safe, and compliant with building regulations. Our company in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced architectural technologist to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to create functional and efficient designs
- Conduct on-site visits to gather measurements and assess site conditions
- Ensure that all designs comply with building regulations and codes
- Research new materials, technologies, and construction methods
- Prepare cost estimates and material specifications
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an architectural technologist
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Experience working on commercial or residential projects is preferred

Salary: $1400 per month
