Civil Engineer - Construction Manager
As a Civil Engineer - Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various construction projects in the city of Almada. Your primary role will be to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the high quality standards set by the company. You will work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project run smoothly.
To excel in this position, you should have a degree in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry. You should also have strong leadership skills and be able to effectively communicate with various teams and individuals. Experience with project management software is preferred.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Preparing project budgets and schedules
- Overseeing site operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Managing project progress and making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines
- Reviewing designs and plans for accuracy and feasibility
- Communicating regularly with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
This is a contract position without accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own visa to work in Almada.
