English Teacher
We are seeking a qualified and experienced English teacher to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As an English teacher, you will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging lessons to students of various ages and levels. You will also be expected to provide constructive feedback and support to students in order to help them improve their language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare dynamic lessons that meet the needs of individual students
- Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to keep students engaged and motivated
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback through assessments and evaluations
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate both language learning and cultural understanding
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery
- Participate in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English or related field
- Teaching certification or qualification (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA)
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching English as a second language
- Fluent in English (native speaker preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds
- Passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
This is a full-time position with regular working hours from Monday-Friday. Our school is located in the beautiful city of Faro, known for its stunning beaches, historical landmarks, and vibrant culture.
