Merchandiser for Indian Women's Clothing - Hawalli, Kuwait


We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our growing team in Hawalli, Kuwait. As a Merchandiser for Indian Women's Clothing, you will be responsible for sourcing and selecting the latest trends and styles in traditional Indian apparel and accessories. Your goal will be to build strong partnerships with suppliers and manufacturers in India to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Source and select traditional Indian clothing and accessories for women from suppliers in India
- Negotiate prices, quantities, and shipping timelines with suppliers
- Maintain relationships with current suppliers while continuously seeking new partnerships
- Stay updated on current fashion trends in India and adapt them to the local market in Hawalli
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing displays that highlight our products
- Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser, preferably in the fashion industry
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian clothing styles and trends
- Experience negotiating prices, quantities, and shipping terms with international suppliers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English (knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills
- Must be willing to relocate to Hawalli, Kuwait for the duration of the contract (accommodation provided)
