Restaurant Manager for Seasonal Indian/Egyptian Cuisine in Akron
We are a busy restaurant in Akron, seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our seasonal Indian and Egyptian cuisine. This is a full-time, year-round position with a salary of $1100 per month. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring high-quality food and service, maintaining inventory and ordering supplies, and supervising staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager
- Experience in managing Indian or Egyptian cuisine preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in English (knowledge of Hindi or Arabic is a plus)
- Must have own valid work visa
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise staff on restaurant policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure high-quality food and service is consistently delivered to customers
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Manage schedules and payroll for staff members
- Collaborate with chefs to create seasonal menus that reflect Indian/Egyptian cuisine
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and prompt resolution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant at all times
