Data Mining Analyst


As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting valuable insights and knowledge from large datasets. You will use advanced analytical techniques and tools to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in data. Your work will play a crucial role in informing decision-making and driving business growth.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data mining strategies to identify patterns and trends in large datasets
- Use statistical analysis tools to analyze data and extract meaningful insights
- Create reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Monitor data quality, identify issues, and propose solutions
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- Proven experience in data mining, preferably in a business setting
- Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g. SPSS, SAS)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Hours: Full-time
Location: Faro, Portugal (candidates with own visa preferred)
