Architectural Technologist - Washington DC, USA


We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team in Washington DC. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the design and construction of buildings, ensuring they meet functional, safety, and aesthetic requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers in the development of building designs
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects
- Conduct site visits to gather information and monitor construction progress
- Use specialized software to create 2D and 3D models of buildings
- Review building plans for compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards
- Research new materials and construction techniques to improve efficiency and sustainability

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred:
- Experience working on commercial or government projects in Washington DC
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month. Accommodation may be provided for the right candidate.
