Part-Time Preservation Architect

A prestigious architecture firm in Lisbon is seeking a part-time Preservation Architect to join our team. This role will involve working on various projects, including the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and landmarks in the city. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and a passion for preserving cultural heritage.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and site visits to assess the condition of historic buildings and landmarks
- Develop preservation plans, including recommendations for restoration and maintenance
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project goals are met
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects
- Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with preservation plans
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for historic preservation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in historic preservation projects
- Extensive knowledge of architectural styles, materials, and construction techniques used in historic buildings
- Excellent design skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be able to work part-time hours in Lisbon

We offer competitive compensation of 1600$ per month for part-time work. This position does not include accommodation but does provide a free visa and ticket for non-residents of Portugal.
