Metal Worker



We are a metal fabrication company located in Faro, seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team on a contract basis. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for creating and repairing metal structures, equipment, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications
- Cut, shape, and bend metal using various tools such as saws, shears, and welding equipment
- Weld or join metal pieces together using techniques such as MIG or TIG welding
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure finished products meet required specifications
- Repair damaged metal structures or machinery using appropriate techniques and materials
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Metal Worker in a similar role
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and working with various types of metal
- Familiarity with welding techniques such as MIG and TIG
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects for extended periods

Salary:
In this contract position, the salary for the Metal Worker role is $1600 per month. In addition to the salary, accommodation will be provided.
