Excavator Operator


We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Eschen, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment used for digging, grading, and moving earth or other materials at construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator safely and efficiently according to job site and company policies
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and ensure proper maintenance is performed
- Use excavator to dig trenches, load dump trucks, level and grade land
- Follow blueprints or instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and safety on the job site
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience operating excavators in a construction setting
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with different types of excavators
- OSHA certification
- Ability to speak English fluently
