Surveyor Supervisor
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Surveyor Supervisor to oversee our team of surveyors in Washington. As the Surveyor Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating surveying projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all surveying activities. Your role will involve supervising the team, reviewing survey data, and providing technical guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate surveying projects.
- Supervise a team of surveyors, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Review survey data for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify potential issues or challenges during the surveying process and develop solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress.
- Train new team members and provide ongoing training to improve skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of surveys, including field notes, maps, reports, and other documentation.
- Monitor equipment maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Surveyor or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of land surveying techniques, tools, and software.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Requirements:
- Professional Surveyor license or certification is preferred but not required.
