Land Surveyor Technician



As a Land Surveyor Technician in Funchal, you will play a crucial role in the planning and development of construction projects. Your main responsibilities will include conducting land surveys, creating maps and reports, and providing accurate measurements for engineers and architects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting field surveys to collect data on topography, property boundaries, and existing structures
- Operating survey equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Creating maps using computer-aided design (CAD) software and analyzing survey data to produce accurate measurements
- Assisting engineers and architects in the planning and design of construction projects by providing precise survey data
- Conducting research to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Communicating with clients to understand project requirements and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the survey process

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Land Surveyor or Land Surveyor Technician
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, methods, and equipment
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant computer programs
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain types
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary:

This position offers a competitive salary of $1000 per month without accommodation. In addition, we offer opportunities for professional development through training programs.

Location:

This position is located in Funchal but may require occasional travel to different project sites within Portugal.
