CNC Operator


We are currently hiring a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in Nakuru. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining CNC machines, as well as a strong understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and running production jobs according to specifications, monitoring machine performance, and making adjustments as needed. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with precision equipment. Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production
- Maintain accurate records of production data
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and G-code programming
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision equipment
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Physical stamina for standing and operating machinery for extended periods of time

Preferred:
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering environment
- Knowledge of different types of CNC machines
- Experience with Fanuc/Mazatrol controls
- Technical degree or certification in machining
