Power Engineer
Location: Eldoret, Kenya


We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Power Engineer to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining and improving power systems, as well as ensuring their efficient operation.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical power systems, including transmission lines, distribution networks, and substations
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new projects
- Monitor and maintain the performance of existing power systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise with the power systems
- Implement energy management strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in technology to ensure the most effective use of resources
- Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure seamless integration of power systems with other infrastructure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in power engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of power system design, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong analytical skills to identify potential problems and develop solutions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
