Skilled Fitter at a Manufacturing Company in Washington, USA

We are hiring a skilled Fitter with experience in manufacturing to join our team in Washington. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing various mechanical parts and structures according to blueprints and specifications. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1300 per week.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to determine assembly procedures
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, gauges, or other measuring instruments
- Cut, shape, and fit materials to form specific parts or structures using hand tools or machines
- Weld or solder parts together using various equipment such as welding torches or soldering irons
- Assemble components into finished products using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners
- Test and troubleshoot completed assemblies to ensure proper functioning and make any necessary adjustments
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Familiarity with hand tools such as saws, drills, grinders, etc.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and equipment is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
