Indian Pastry Chef in Shan
As an Indian Pastry Chef in Shan, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries that reflect the unique flavors and techniques of Indian cuisine. You will work closely with our culinary team to develop new dessert menus and ensure that all pastries are prepared to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create a variety of traditional and modern Indian desserts and pastries
- Develop new dessert menus that incorporate local flavors and ingredients
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure consistency in plating and overall presentation
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs on proper techniques and recipes
- Manage inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to plan special events or promotions involving desserts
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef, specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian desserts and pastries
- Creativity and ability to develop new recipes based on market trends
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques
Salary: 1700$ per month.
