Turner - Experienced

We are in need of an experienced Turner to join our team in Nakuru. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to perform precision machining operations on metal workpieces. This is a contract job, and we are open to hiring Malayalees or Filipinos who have their own visa.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to inspect machined parts for accuracy
- Adjust machine controls and change tooling as necessary to achieve desired results
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
- Keep accurate records of production quantities, inspection results, and maintenance performed on machines
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Turner or similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Good communication skills in English (Malayalee or Filipino language skills preferred)
- Own visa with the ability to work in Nakuru on a contract basis

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
