Moderator for Virtual Event Platform (Mauren, Kenya)

As a Moderator for our virtual event platform, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all participants. This is a full-time position located in Mauren, Kenya and we welcome both local and foreign applicants. No English proficiency is required, as long as you can communicate effectively in the language of the event.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate live virtual events to ensure that participants are following guidelines and behaving respectfully
- Assist with technical issues and troubleshooting during events
- Engage with participants through chat or Q&A sessions to keep the conversation flowing and address any questions or concerns
- Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure seamless execution of events
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience in event moderation or customer service is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Ability to think quickly on your feet and handle unexpected situations calmly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficiency with technology and ability to learn new software quickly
- Flexible schedule, as events may occur during non-traditional working hours

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month, based on experience.
