Hotel Sales Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy for our hotel. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, negotiating contracts, and staying up-to-date with current market trends. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to work well under pressure. This position offers a competitive salary of 1500$ per month with additional incentives based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Identify potential clients and build relationships through cold calling, networking events, and client visits
- Negotiate contracts with clients to secure business for the hotel
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and operations to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives
- Analyze data and prepare reports on sales performance for management review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel sales or related field
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of local market trends
- Fluency in English is required
- Canadian nationality preferred but not required
