Head Baker
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the bakery, including production, quality control, and inventory management
- Create and execute new recipes and product offerings
- Train and manage a team of bakers and assistants
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery
- Monitor ingredient and supply levels, placing orders as needed
- Collaborate with management to develop business strategies for growth and profitability
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a baker, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to create unique and delicious recipes from scratch
- Excellent time-management skills to meet production demands in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail for quality control purposes
- Ability to lead, motivate, and train a team effectively
- Knowledge of health codes and safety regulations in a food service setting
Salary: $900 per month
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
