Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process transactions using cash registers or point-of-sale systems
- Ensure accuracy in all monetary transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer any customer inquiries and provide helpful information
- Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies
- Keep track of inventory levels and inform management of any shortages or surpluses

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills and friendly demeanor
