Information Security Analyst



We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Porto. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's data and systems. You will conduct regular security assessments, implement security protocols, and monitor all network activity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles and technologies, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$, including accommodation. Candidates with a biometric passport and women are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company data and systems
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or breaches
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Develop disaster recovery plans in case of data breaches or system failures
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems
- Stay updated on the latest information security trends and technologies
- Train employees on best practices for information security awareness

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, standards, and technologies (e.g. firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems)
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. Nessus)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001 or GDPR is preferred
- Biometric passport is required for this position
