Shaper (Contract) - Nakuru, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled Shaper to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for creating and shaping various materials such as wood, metal, and plastic into specific forms and sizes. This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or design plans to determine the specifications of the final product
- Operate hand and power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and lathes to shape materials
- Measure and mark materials according to the design plans
- Shape materials using various techniques such as cutting, carving, drilling, and sanding
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
- Make adjustments to products as needed to meet specifications
- Follow safety procedures while operating tools and equipment

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Shaper or in a similar role is required
- Ability to read blueprints and design plans accurately
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if necessary

Preference:
This job is open to Pakistani nationals who have experience working as a Shaper. However, candidates from other nationalities with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
