Construction Project Manager
As a Construction Project Manager in Braga, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to review plans and ensure compliance with regulations
- Select contractors and subcontractors for each project
- Monitor progress of construction work and address any issues or delays promptly
- Ensure quality standards are met through regular inspections
- Manage project budget, including tracking expenses and approving payments
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress
- Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential risks
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed on site
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in project management software (e.g. MS Project)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
