Merchandiser
We are hiring a Merchandiser to join our team in Manama. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for developing and executing merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability. You will also be responsible for maintaining product displays, ensuring stock levels are replenished, and managing inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising plans in line with company objectives
- Analyze sales reports and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure timely delivery of products
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or clearance of slow-moving items
- Create appealing product displays that attract customers and enhance the overall shopping experience
- Train store staff on product features and benefits to increase their knowledge and sales skills
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Proven work experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques and best practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
