Welder
Location: Lom, Kenya
Salary: 1500$
We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Lom, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and work independently. As a Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$, without accommodation provided. We welcome Kenyan nationals as well as those with valid visas to apply for this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications
- Use various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding to assemble or repair metal structures
- Inspect completed welds for quality assurance
- Operate power tools such as grinders and saws to cut and shape metal pieces
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working in the workshop or on-site
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in welding preferred
- Proven experience as a Welder in a professional setting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods of time
